It’s been months since I’ve had a story on the radio, but it’s happening this weekend. A story me and my girl Hillary Frank reported together. We came up with the concept for a story about sleepover parties we called “Ten” a couple years ago and last weekend we finally got around to making it happen. The original idea was to attend two kids sleepover parties and spend “ten hours…with ten…ten year-old kids.”

We didn’t end up sticking with that concept exactly, but we did go to two sleepover parties happening on the same night in our neighborhood in Philly. Hillary went to the girl party and I hung out with the boys. We got to the parties around dinner time and left when the last kids were asleep.

The result is airing this weekend on Weekend America.
