Ready?
Wednesday April 19, 2006

I saw ReadyMade Magazine in a friend’s bathroom soon after the first issue debuted a couple years ago. I had picked up a copy myself and we talked about how fun it was, even if reading it made us feel a little weird. My friend’s exact words, “It made me realize I’m a demographic.”

Demographic or not, I never imagined I’d be in the magazine. The current April/May issue has a version of the story I originally reported for Weekend America about Chicago theater organist Mark Noller. You remember, the guy who transformed his garage into a replica of a movie theater. If radio doesn’t provide enough visuals for you, here’s your chance to see Mark’s mini movie palace. It’ll make you sad you have to sit on an old futon when you watch your Netflix at home. Find out where to pick up the rag here.
