Today I did something I’ve never done before – report and produce a story in a single day. Weekend America asked me to find people who were putting together care packages for soldiers deployed overseas and do a story about it. I spent some time this morning with some of the people behind Operation Gratitude while they sorted through CD’s, t-shirts, and candy bars. Tune in this weekend to hear the results.
